Daria
I’m Daria Quireva, a visual artist living and working in Paris. My work is deeply rooted in nature, expressed through fluid organic shapes, botanical forms, and vibrant palettes.
My background is rooted in a highly analytical, research-driven approach, which continues to shape my creative process today. I view my art as a space for exploration—a visual language where I seek to bridge the gap between intuition and knowledge. Through my work, I aim to translate complex meanings, subtle scientific concepts, and the underlying assumptions that structure our world into tangible, fluid representations.
A central theme in my practice is the symbiotic relationship between humanity and the natural world. I explore the intertwining of human presence and organic life, blurring the lines between the two. This work reflects our profound interconnectedness with the living world—reminding us that we are not separate or dominant, but integral parts of a larger, balanced whole.
Environmental awareness and materiality strongly guide my approach. I am drawn to reclaimed materials and giving existing surfaces a second life. Working with materials that carry an innate history—layering over previously painted canvases and incorporating tactile, natural textures—allows me to transform past experiences into works that evoke harmony, reflection, and renewal.
