Daria
I’m Daria Quireva, a French visual artist living and working in Paris. My art is deeply connected to nature, and I often express this through organic shapes, flowers, plants, and vibrant colors.
One of the central themes in my work is the merging of humans and nature. I love exploring anthropomorphism, where nature and people become one, blurring the lines between the two. It’s my way of showing the interconnectedness between us, humans, and the natural world—we are not separate or dominant, but rather part of a larger, balanced whole.
Sustainability and eco-consciousness have had a strong influence on my approach. I’m drawn to using recycled materials and love giving old objects new life. There’s something special about working with materials that have a history—painting on already-painted canvases and experimenting with adding used or natural materials into my process. These choices allow me to transform past experiences and painful origins into art that brings peace and healing.
What?
Oil painting is my primary medium, but I also enjoy experimenting with collage, watercolor, ink, pastels, and digital illustration. Each material brings something unique to the creative process. My interests are wide-ranging, from botanical prints to folk art, mythology, and surrealism, all of which inspire the way I bring my ideas to life.
For me, art is not just about creating something visually striking—it’s about telling a story, one rooted in the deep connection between the human world and the natural one.

You're not alone — many people feel uncertain when purchasing their first artwork. The key is to trust your instincts and select pieces that resonate with you personally.
Start by exploring various styles and mediums to discover what captivates you. Remember, art isn't just decoration — it's something you live with, connect to, and sometimes even see yourself in. If a piece evokes emotion or curiosity, that's a sign it could be the right choice for you.
Don't hesitate to reach out with questions or for guidance; many artists, including myself, are happy to discuss our work and help you find a piece that fits your space and story.
